Talet i Europaparlamentet 23 oktober 2018. Jag visar mitt stöd till den nya rörelsen och vill uppmärksamma bloggen metooep.com.

As you might know, this month the MeToo European Parliament movement launched a blog which collects and published anonymous testimonies of victims of sexism, sexual harassment and sexual assault within the European Parliament – metooep.com. 

The blog is intended to be a first port of call for victims, to provide solidarity and information, to raise awareness on what forms sexual harassment can take, and to show victims they are not alone.

We need to break the culture of silence around sexual harassment, we need to support this movement of workers who are bravely sharing their stories. We must fully implement the European Parliament resolution on combating sexual harassment and abuse in the EU adopted by a vast majority more than one year ago, on 17th October 2017.

I stand strongly with the Me Too European Parliament movement.
